Orthopaedic Trauma and Post-Traumatic Reconstruction Specialist

Dr. Dan Oas is a fellowship trained orthopedic trauma surgeon specializing in complex pelvic fracture surgery, all fractures of the upper and lower extremity, the correction of non-healing, deformed, or infected bones, and joint replacement and fusion surgery. After completing residency in Tulsa, Oklahoma at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medical Center, he proceeded to Tampa General Hospital and completed a one year fellowship in orthopedic trauma and posttraumatic reconstruction. He is the only fellowship trained orthopedic trauma surgeon in all of northern and central Louisiana. He serves as the Director of Orthopedic Trauma at Rapides Regional Medical Center.
