 Mr. Starrett has over 30 years of management and administrative experience with over 20 years
being in healthcare. He is a graduate of Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, TX with a Bachelors of Business Administration
(BBA) degree, with an emphasis on Management. He has held a variety of positions in hospitals including Business Manager, Chief
Financial Officer and Interim Administrator. In addition, he has worked as a Healthcare Finance/Operations Consultant and Sr.
Reimbursement Consultant for a hospital management company with multiple facility responsibility for the revenue cycle, cost
reporting, compliance and medical staff relations.
In 1997 he was designated a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA) and has achieved the Certified
Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) status with certification specialties in Patient Accounting, Managed Care and the
Financial Management of Physician Practices. An active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) he has
served that organization as Director, Treasurer, Vice-President and President of the Louisiana Chapter HFMA. He is also a member
of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).
